Academic Dean, Office Manager, teaches World History and Computer Keyboarding
Dr. Brooks holds a B.A. in music and an M.S.E. in History, both from Harding University. He also holds a Ph.D. in Renaissance and Reformation Humanities from The Florida State University. Dr. Brooks has fifteen years’ teaching experience at the community college and university levels. Dr. Brooks teaches high school history courses for CrossPointe; in the past he has also taught high school literature, keyboarding, and served as financial coordinator. Currently, Dr. Brooks serves as Academic Dean, technology manager, and assists in a variety of other duties as assigned. While living in Florida, Dr. Brooks also managed a business that served home schooled students. In addition to his love for the academic environment, he enjoys woodworking and photography, and he has the talent to build or repair pretty much anything. Dr. Brooks and his wife, Mary Alice, have three children, ages 6, 7, and 9.
