David Dow was born and raised in southern California. He earned a B.A. in Fine Arts from California State University and an M.A. in Education from the United States International University. Mr. Dow learned Spanish while living and working for 2 1/2 years with the United States Peace Corps in Central America. Most of Mr. Dow’s career has been spent with the Santa Ana Unified School District and the Rancho Santiago Community College District in California, where he taught English as a second language, adult basic education, and art. Mr. Dow and his wife, Frances, moved to Searcy to spend time with their daughter, son-in-law, and two grandsons.
