Cathy Privitt graduated from University of Texas Pan American in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She holds a Texas teaching certificate for both English/Language Arts and Mathematics, grades 6-12. She recently retired from teaching in Texas after 29 years, having taught in a variety of locations. She has taught math for the last 20 years. Cathy has three children and six grandchildren.
